Developing Successful Entertainment Lineups

Curating lineups can be as fun as it is challenging. Good Neighbor Festivals understands that booking artists to fill out festival lineups requires a number of working parts. Elements involved range from audience interaction and feedback on social-media, checking the availability of the artist and the negotiation process/contract with talent agencies, down to the vibe of your event you are looking to create. In general, it's not out of the ordinary to start booking a festival 6 months or more in advance to make sure you have the best possible lineup and production for your event.

Secure Production (Stage, Lights, Sound)

Choosing the right production company for your event is a big decision and will reflect the day of show. Production sets the look for your event with staging, sound, lighting, banner advertising placement for your sponsors, and more.

Some questions you may have thought about when thinking about production: How many stages will you need? Will your event be at night and need lighting? Your basic needs.

But perhaps you didn’t think about: What is the legal decibel limit for the event? What size stage will you need based on the artists performing and their needs? What are the artists' dressing room requirements and backline needs? Where is the Front of House located and how far from the stage does it need to be? Where do you best place the Monitor Control center?

We have expertise in handling all of this and will ensure that your event is running smoothly when gates open. Don’t pay a premium for mediocre production.

Deadlines, radius clauses, hospitality requirements, travel agendas, and more, all play a crucial role in this process. Don’t fall victim to an inflated artist guarantee, let us negotiate for you and coach you so you know when to sign or walk away from a deal.

Would you like to see the next up and coming emerging artists perform at your event?
